We loved this entire series & hope the author continues on with future books in it. I read this entire book series to my son (age 6 at the time) at bedtime, now we've switched over to Harry Potter series while we keep our eyes out for more Secret Zoo books. The "main" character in this book is a boy, but the different animal characters and supporting boy & girl characters make this book series enjoyable for boys and girls.
